    Achieve a minimum of 112 tariff points achieved in either three Advanced Highers or from a combination of two Advanced Highers plus two Highers. Where three Advanced Highers have been taken achieve a minimum of grades CCD. Where a combination of Highers and Advanced Highers have been taken you must achieve (grades of CD in two Advanced Highers plus grades of CC in two Highers). Minimum of 3 subjects to a total of 112 UCAS tariff points.

    International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 28 points
    Obtain a minimum of 28 points overall. Students who do not complete the IB Diploma will be considered on the basis of their IB Certificates if they obtain a total of 14 points or above from three Higher Level Subjects with grade 4 or above in at least one Higher Level subject from Group 4 and alongside other acceptable level 3 qualifications to meet 112 UCAS Tariff Points For students who do not already hold a GCSE in Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above grade 5 in Maths (Standard Level) from the IB Diploma will be accepted For students who do not already hold a GCSE in English Language at Grade C/4 or above Standard Level English Language (not literature) Group A - Grade 4 or above, OR English Language Group B - Grade 5 from the IB will be accepted.

    Welsh Baccalaureate - Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (first teaching September 2015)
    Only in combination with other qualifications Can be counted alongside other acceptable level 3 qualifications totalling at least 112 UCAS tariff points.

    Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)
    Pass the Irish Leaving Certificate with a minimum of 112 tariff points, achieved in four Higher level subjects. This must include Maths and English Language taken at either Ordinary level (minimum grade O1-O4 (or A-C/A1-C3)) or Higher level (minimum grade H5/D1).

    Access to HE Diploma
    60 credits including 45 at Level 3, of which 40 Level 3 credits are at merit / distinction. If you do not hold GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade C or above, then credits must also include English, Maths and Science at Level 2. Applicants taking an access to higher education diploma will need GCSE's grade 4 or above in English Language, Mathematics and Science. Appropriate equivalent qualifications can be considered http://bcu.ac.uk/courses/primary-education-with-qts-ba-hons-2018-19 or achievement of 12 credits at L2 in these subjects within the Access course.

    Applicants who have not received their secondary school education in English will require an overall IELTS score of 6, with no subtest below 5.5 If English is studied at GCSE Level but as a second language, IELTs must be completed to qualify for UK L2 requirement.
