An online introduction is followed by four directed study sessions (online learning) where key concepts will be disseminated and explored. Directed distance learning will be required throughout the module, which includes regular pre-reading, course information and additional learning materials. You will be supported by the University's virtual learning environment and academic guidance is available throughout by phone, email and online tutorials.

The summative assessment will be a ten-minute poster-style presentation, using a single powerpoint slide (or equivalent software) without any form of animation based on developing evidence surrounding the management of major trauma in the emergency setting, narrated by you addressing the assessment criteria.
