    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    For inclusion in a master's degree is the completion of studies at the Bachelor's level requirement. The subject-specific entry requirements are set out in the current Aufnahme-/Zulassungsordnung (admission regulations). It also includes the different deadlines for the provision of evidence.

    Subsequent non-teaching occupational fields

    ProMat graduates qualify for admission to doctoral studies and further career steps in a scientific and research-oriented working environment.

    Based on the individual curriculum ProMat provides students with expert knowledge in: 

    • materials physics, materials chemistry, materials science or materials informatics;
    • the relationship between materials properties and process parameters;
    • the synthesis and production of materials, components and systems;
    • methods for process control and process optimization;
    • the computer-based modelling of materials and processes;
    • nanotechnology;
    • the sustainable use of materials.
