    About

    Our DClinDent Prosthodontics programme is for qualified dental graduates. It's one of only four specialty training options available in the UK. You'll learn through comprehensive academic, professional, research and clinical training.

    You'll develop your skills in diagnostics, treatment planning, and practical expertise. You'll also deepen your understanding of specialist evidence-based research. Starting with simulated treatments, you'll progress to hands-on patient care at our Dental Clinic. You'll be supported by internationally renowned academic and specialist experts.

    The clinical training is enhanced by seminars, lectures, journal clubs and multidisciplinary case-based discussions. You'll have opportunities to engage in research and advanced evidence-based practice.

    Entry Requirements

    4-year Degree from Government University / Recognised Private University GPA 2.5/4 (C+) (Above Average) on the 4 point scale or 3/5 (70-75%) (C) (Good+) on the 5 point scale

    Associate Degree AND2-year Degree from Government University / Recognised Private University GPA 2.5/4 (C+) (Above Average) on the 4 point scale or 3/5 (70-75%) (C) (Good+) on the 5 point scale

    English Program Requirements

  • Competency in English language (IELTS Level 6.5 or equivalent) is required

    Future careers in prosthodontics

    Graduates from the DClinDent Prosthodontics may be eligible to apply for the Royal College Membership examination, opening pathways to specialist recognition in prosthodontics.

    Completing the DClinDent Prosthodontics will lead to the opportunity to qualify as a specialist in prosthodontics. You'll also have a doctorate qualification suitable for future academic careers.

    Completion of clinical training provides the opportunity to apply for the membership examinations of the Royal Colleges for prosthodontics and become a specialist.
