RADIO TELEVISION and CINEMA
Mission
The Bachelors Degree Program of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department is a 240 ECTS credits program of 4 years composed of eight semesters, each with a 30 ECTS workload. One ECTS is equal to 25.5 hours of student workload per semester.
Functions of Radio, Television and Cinema Program;
Having basic knowledge about communication science, Radio, Television and Cinema, aesthetics, visual culture, scientific understanding and can turn this into practice,
Has knowledge in radio, television and cinema fields such as camera, fiction, script, program production,
Open to change that constantly changes itself in line with social cultural, scientific and ethical values,
Observing social responsibility and community benefit in their Professional Practices,
Who can critically look at the world and itself,
Having an interdisciplinary view,
Attaches importance to research and development,
Demonstrate their professional competencies and skills in all areas of Radio, Television and Cinema,

Section Facilities
Students of Radio, Television and Cinema are trained in an environment where they can realize their individual talents. In line with working conditions in communication field, a schedule which will enable students to use their individual talents in a team has been formed. Therefore, our students take courses related to communication sciences and visual communication as basic courses of their field and basic disciplines of social sciences such as sociology, political science and law in their first year while a sensitive approach to social and political events in mass media is established starting from the first year. In addition to theoretical courses, there are courses which enable students to practise in radio, television and cinema such as news making, programming and production.
