    Overview The Recreation, Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Human Ecology curriculum emphasizes ecological, natural resource, and sustainability concepts, theories, and applications, the relationships and interactions of people and outdoor resources and how to manage them, and skills and knowledge to pursue specific careers in this field. Domains include environmental education, environmental and cultural interpretation, outdoor adventure education, natural resource and recreation resource management, and the relation between humans and natural environments.A number of skill certificates are also available to students through various academic courses. For example, only at Indiana University may students learn via such living laboratories as C.O.R.E.
