One advanced language course
- Port 304: Advanced Portuguese
Three advanced content courses in Lusophone Studies
- Port 375L: Brazilian Civilization
- Latam 380: Brazilian Cinema
- Port 479: Independent Study
- Port 480: Studies in Luso-Brazilian Literatures
With permission from the LAIS department, students may take up to three courses outside of the department that have substantial content about the Lusophone world to satisfy minor requirements, including courses in History, Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, Africana Studies, Labor Studies, Human Rights, and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
