    About

    The aim of this module is to enable you to develop the ability to critically analyse research methods and critically review literature to inform an area of practice. This course is a practice programme, however it can also be undertaken as a standalone module.

    • The integration and relation of research methodologies and designs of available evidence in a selected area of practice
    • How to formulate research questions and justify different research designs and methods to answer specific questions in their area of practice
    • How to reflect upon governance issues and ethical considerations in practice
    • How to appraise processes for data management and analysis relevant to their area
    • How to evaluate strategies for disseminating and implementing evidence in practice

    Learning Methods

    The course is delivered by a lecturer with a 35 year nursing career.

    This module is delivered through online methods including online chat, virtual classroom and discussion forums. You will engage with directed and self-directed learning activities supported by the module team.

    Assessment

    This course is assessed through written assignment and oral presentation.

    Entry Requirements

    • Applicants who do not hold an International High School qualification will be expected to undertake a pathway programme at our International College

    English Program Requirements

    Most undergraduate courses require an IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each area. Some courses require a higher English language score. Always check the relevant course page and our English Language Requirements page before applying.

    • Proving that your English language is good enough for University-level study. In this case you should send us a copy of your IELTS or TOEFL certificate as soon as it is available. Please upload these documents to your Apply Yourself record or email the Admissions Office with these.
