The MS in science & technology for innovation in global development is a 30-credit hour global MS program. You'll personalize your course of study by choosing electives that follow a logical path for deepening your understanding of one area. Program requirements will vary based on the concentration, but all include thematically related coursework and research. Areas of Concentration Biology Biomedical Engineering Chemistry and Biochemistry Economics The Business School Civil and Environmental Engineering Data Science Interactive Media and Gaming Clark University IDCE Courses Requirements for the Global Development Master's program Core Coursework Requirement (15 Credits) A Design Boot Camp, which begins in mid-August each year, is required. Graduate Qualifying Project/MS Thesis (3â€“9 Credits) Areas of Concentration (9â€“12 Credits) The BS/MS and BA/MS degree with a Graduate Qualifying Project can be completed in 12 months. The thesis option will typically take one-and-a-half to two academic years. If you plan to add a language to your study, the program will take two years.

Requirements

English Program Requirements

Any international applicant seeking to attend WPI on an F-1 student Visa must submit official TOEFL scores or IELTS scores. However, if applicants have two years of continuous full-time college study completed within the last five years, in a country whose official language is English, he or she can apply for a TOEFL/IELTS waiver.

TOEFLS are waived for individuals who have been in the US for three or more years working.

WPI requires a minimum TOEFL score of 84 or IELTS score of 7. The School of Business requires a GMAT score of 500 or its equivalent on the GRE. There are no minimum GRE scores, but the average for admitted international students over the past three years has been 150 verbal, 165 quantitative, and 3.0 analytical.
