Service Learning (SL) is a specially designed learning experience in which students combine reflection with structured participation in community-based projects to achieve specified learning outcomes as part of an academic course and/or program requirement.
Students enrolled in Jordanian national curriculum are asked to report their current subjects on the “Current or Most Recent Year Courses” section of the Common App. Advise your school counselor, headmaster, director, etc. to upload the following documents to the Common App:

There are four types of Service Learning: Direct Service Learning, Indirect Service Learning, Research-Based Service Learning, and Advocacy Service Learning. Students who pursue a certificate in Service Learning are those interested in sectors of the workforce that revolve around public policy, strengthening communities, developing critical skills that can be used in advocacy work, and those who want to work in reducing stereotypes and facilitating cultural and racial understanding.
