    About

    Taught jointly between King's and Shakespeare's Globe, our unique MA course offers you the opportunity to study the theatrical world of Shakespeare and his contemporaries. You will be able to draw on expertise at both King's and Shakespeare's Globe, studying Shakespeare in the context of London's famous reconstructed early modern theatre located just a stone's throw from where his plays were originally performed.
  • Department of English - Research recognised (REF 2021) with 90 per cent overall rating for either ‘world leading' (4*) or ‘internationally excellent' (3*) research and 100 per cent at 4* and 3* for research environment.
  • Unique collaboration between Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Department of English, King's College London.
  • Ideal opportunity to study the plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries in a theatrical context in the heart of London.

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.

    English Program Requirements
