    Admissions Requirements completion of Areas A-E completion of ENGL 1101 (or ENGL 1101H) and ENGL 1102 (or ENGL 1102H), each with a grade of C” or better (these are Area A courses) completion of ASL 1001, ASL 1002, ASL 2001, and ASL 2002 with a grade of C” or better Note: A B” or better is required in ASL 1002 and ASL 2001 to advance to the next course in the sequence (these are Area F courses) completion of program orientation successful completion of entrance interview: candidates will demonstrate proficiency in sign recall and visual-motor integration, and demonstrate at least intermediate conversational proficiency in American Sign Language completion of major application Apply here »

    English Program Requirements

    For students required to show English Language Proficiency for summer 2020 and fall 2020, Georgia State accepts Duolingo English tests as one of the new English proficiency tests. To register for the test, please go to go.duolingo.com/applicants. The Duolingo English Test can be taken online from a computer with a camera. Certified results are available within two days and can be shared instantly with the university. For 2020-2021 admissions cycle, any changes on the admissions requirements will be updated on the website under the guidance from the University System of Georgia.
