    About

Overview Primarily online courses with up to two face-to-face meetings each semester. Online courses may include synchronous class sessions in the early evenings. Neighbor island candidates travel to Oahu on select Saturdays; some financial support is provided to assist with this travel. Face-to-face meetings will include an option to meet online for candidates outside of the state. The approved course sequences may be taken while pursuing the master's (Special Education: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) or bachelor's (BCaBA) degree. For those that already have the necessary degree, the approved coursework can be taken on it's own.  I want to find another Master Course Information regarding requirements and applications on this program page are for those seeking the coursework only. For those interested in pursuing the BCBA coursework within our Master's in Special Education program, please refer to the MEd- SPED program page for necessary requirements and application information.Multicultural Global ExperienceCommitted to being the leading indigenous serving university in the country, University of Hawaii at Manoa proudly delivers a unique multicultural global experience in a Hawaiian place of learning, with a long history of adherence to the principles of sustainability and the essence of aloha—truly like nowhere else on earth.

    Other Requirements

    • 1 : To be eligible, an applicant must hold or expect to hold prior to matriculation a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, or an equivalent degree from a recognized non-U.S. institution of higher education. At minimum, the applicant needs to demonstrate above average academic performance (B average, usually a 3.0 on a 1.0-4.0 scale) for undergraduate course work and for any post-baccalaureate or graduate course work. Because the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, admission is competitive.  Meeting minimum admissions standards does not guarantee admission.
