    About

    Program Description

The Special Education MA Online Master's Program-Disabilities (OMAD) offers exceptional individuals who wish to pursue a master's degree the opportunity to earn a master's degree in 1.5- 2 years. This OMAD program accepts students who apply to the Graduate College of the University of Arizona through GradApp. Once admitted to the Special Education Online MA Program in Disabilities, students take 3-9 units of graduate coursework during each semester towards their master's degree. Many financial aid opportunities require students to attend at least half-time (6 units).

Graduates of the Online MA Program in Special Education-Disabilities complete coursework, and a Master's Report, and earn a master's degree at the University of Arizona. Students take 30 units of core courses and choose one of three specializations where they will enroll in 6 units of courses to complete this master's degree program. This program provides you with an academic foundation in special education and skills needed to work with children or young adults with disabilities.
