Treat Communication Disorders

Speech Pathology and Audiology is the study of communication disorders. Speech-language pathologists evaluate, treat, prevent, and research these disorders. Audiologists assess and manage disorders of hearing and balance. You'll gain hands-on experience identifying communication disorders in patients of all ages and develop treatment plans.

• Academic Records
  • Academic records include all secondary school studies, beginning with 9th grade through the most current available at the time of application.
  • Proof of secondary school graduation is required before you enroll at Miami.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
  • Provide TOEFL or IELTS test scores or provide alternative proof of English language proficiency.

Required Documents for Visa

An I-20 visa document is required to enroll as an international student at Miami University. To receive yours, please first provide the following items:

• A copy of your passport or national identification card.
• An international student financial support form with documentation of financial support, such as a bank statement. (Tax returns or letters of employment/income are not acceptable.)
