    Our program nurtures your skills in assessing, diagnosing, treating, rehabilitating and preventing injuries. You'll develop critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and teamwork in a variety of professional settings, readying you for a career in dynamic clinical and sports environments.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Applicants who have completed a Diploma of Technician / Technical Diploma in a relevant subject can be considered for year 1 entry of an undergraduate degree
    • Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
    • Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be applied

    Undergraduate Advanced Entry

    Students who have completed a 2 year Diploma or Associate Degree from a recognised institution can be considered for advanced entry onto the 2nd year of an undergraduate degree programme

    English Program Requirements

    English language requirements

    International applicants will need to have achieved an overall of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component/TOEFL 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing or equivalent.

    Graduate careers

    As a Graduate Sport and Exercise Therapist, there are many career paths available to you, including work with professional/semi-professional/international sports teams, private practice/clinics, and NHS roles like health trainer, rehabilitation assistant, or teaching and academia.

    Postgraduate studies such as Masters or PhD programs are also popular options. There are opportunities with the Ministry of Defence, which values sports therapists for rehabilitating injured personnel, and Connect Health, a private company connected to hospitals which refer patients for rehabilitation, placing sports therapists on par with other professions.

    We're proud to hold accreditation from the Society of Sports Therapists, granting graduates full professional membership upon program completion. In years one and two, our partnership with CIMSPA allows students to pursue Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualifications. We offer the opportunity to complete externally recognised sports massage qualifications annually. We're also privileged to collaborate with the Football Association Wales and Urdd Gobaith Cymru, Wales' largest national youth organisation.
