    About

    Using our specialist well-equipped studios and workshops, you will develop design and technical skills in screen-printing, dyeing, hand and machine embroidery, digital print, laser-cutting, fabric manipulation and making skills while working on live and collaborative projects. This inspirational, innovative and vibrant degree offers exceptional studios, workshops and resources – including your very own individual studio bay – which will allow you to surround yourself with inspiration. You’ll develop design and making skills to equip you for a role within this dynamic industry, whether you choose to follow a path into employment or self-employment. Design opportunities include interiors, fashion, gifts, stationery, table-top and bedding. This course offers a range of niche skills that will be transferable to a wide range of creative industries, such as teaching, community arts, buying, styling and visual merchandising. EXHIBITIONS & TRADE SHOWS Work is exhibited and sold at trade fairs and exhibitions such as: Premiére Vision, Paris; Surtex, New York; New Designers, London; London Print Design Fair; Indigo MoOD Brussels.     UCAS Tariff - 96 - 112 points
    UCAS tariff points can be made up of a mixture of Level 3 qualifications.

    Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
    Pass Foundation Diploma

    A level - CCC - BBC
    Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - MMM - DMM

    Fee Information

    As with most creative programmes delivered at higher education, this programme will have additional costs such as material and basic tools and contribution towards educational visits to ensure successful completion of the programme. The School offers financial support packages to help with this, whether this be through means-tested bursaries and/or grants.
