    Overview

    This joint PhD is part of a wider transCampus initiative – the first of its kind in Europe – and it is a unique partnership between two of Europes leading academic institutions, King's College London and Technische Universität Dresden (www.transcampus.eu). These institutions are expert in studying psychiatry, psychology and neurosciences and are leaders in these research areas, from basic neuroscience to clinical psychiatry and psychology. The expertise of the two institutions will be combined within the overarching aim of the proposed programme to advance our joint, key research goals.

    Postgraduate taught courses

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.

    English Program Requirements

    To study at King's, it is essential that you can communicate effectively in English and are able to do so in an academic environment. You are usually required to provide certification of your competence in English before starting your studies.
