Welcome to the Summer School in International and Comparative Law! Spend your summer in the heart of Europe! The Faculty of Law at Justus Liebig University Giessen, the Marquette University Law School and the University of Wisconsin Law School are looking forward to hosting students from all over the world for the 13th U.S.-German Summer Law School in Giessen. Students can choose two of the following four courses: International Economic Law & Business Transactions Business Ethics and Human Rights Law Comparative Constitutional Law TBAÂ The programme combines high-quality teaching with a wide range of cultural and social activities. During the four weeks in Giessen, students will study in a friendly atmosphere and meet excellent lecturers and practitioners from all over the world. Additionally, they have the opportunity to attend aÂ German language courseÂ offered at a beginner's level. Students can join our field trips to the magnificent European capitals of BerlinÂ andÂ Brussels.Â The programme is completed with several optionalÂ social events, such as sports, a summer barbecue and accommodation in aÂ hotel (with breakfast included).
