    This Web Development certificate is designed to provide core skills to become a proficient webmaster. This is a vendor neutral certificate program. The following courses are suggested as a template. Students can design their own learning path with the agreement of the department.

    The Department of Information Technology offers four professional certificate programs in information technology (IT). This certificate is designed for individuals wishing to gain additional knowledge and skills in the field of IT. Furthermore, professionals, wishing to renew and/or acquire skills and knowledge that are current in IT, can also use this learning path to enhance their career goals. The certificate is designed to help students apply, as well as integrate, current computing technologies to expand their fields of expertise and enhance career objectives.

    As the modern society becomes more and more intertwined with technology, IT quickly turns into any productive individual's must-acquired skill. Regardless of an individual's career objectives, a concentrated study in IT, in a relatively short period of time, shall certainly enhance his/her skills in the work place, as well as widen the prospect of career choices.

    Entry Requirements

    Students enrolled in Jordanian national curriculum are asked to report their current subjects on the “Current or Most Recent Year Courses” section of the Common App. Advise your school counselor, headmaster, director, etc. to upload the following documents to the Common App:

    • Transcripts with final Preparatory school results for year 10, coursework and scores for year 11, and as much as is available for year 12 by the application deadline
    • If you have completed secondary school, official copy of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi), accompanied by a certified word-for-word English translation

    If the transcript is issued in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by an English translation.
