Program, yasal ÅŸartlarÄ± saÄŸladÄ±ktan sonra kendi adÄ±na serbest muhasebecilik mesleÄŸini icra edebileceÄŸi iÅŸyeri aÃ§Ä±p Ã§alÄ±ÅŸtÄ±rabilecek, muhasebe ve vergi konularÄ±nda hizmet veren mali mÃ¼ÅŸavirlik bÃ¼rolarÄ± ile Ã¶zel ve kamu kurum ve kuruluÅŸlarÄ±nÄ±n muhasebe servislerinin ihtiyacÄ± olan sorumluluk Ã¼stlenebilecek nitelikli ara insan gÃ¼cÃ¼ (muhasebe meslek elemanÄ±) yetiÅŸtirmeyi amaÃ§layan dÃ¶rt yarÄ±yÄ±llÄ±k bir yÃ¼ksekÃ¶ÄŸretim programÄ±dÄ±r. EÄŸitim sÃ¼recinde, Ã¶ÄŸrencilere; Muhasebeci olarak hukuki sorumluluklar ve mesleÄŸi ile ilgili mevzuatÄ± takip etmenin Ã¶nemi kavratÄ±lmakta, ticari hayatta kullanÄ±lan belgeleri tanÄ±yabilme, dÃ¼zenleyebilme Ã¶zellikleri kazandÄ±rÄ±lmaktadÄ±r. UygulamalÄ± muhasebe dersleri bilgisayar ortamÄ±nda verilerek Ã¶ÄŸrencilerin bilgisayar paket programlarÄ±nÄ± Ã§alÄ±ÅŸtÄ±rabilme, alanÄ±yla ilgili yazÄ±ÅŸmalarÄ± yapabilme, bilgi depolayabilme ve depolanmÄ±ÅŸ bilgileri kullanabilme becerileri kazanabilmeleri hedeflenmektedir. Ã–ÄŸretim programÄ± , Ã¶ÄŸrencilerin bu Ã¶zellikleri kazanabileceÄŸi ve ticari hayatta kullanÄ±lan defterlerin mevzuata uygun usul ve esaslara gÃ¶re iÅŸleyebilme alÄ±ÅŸkanlÄ±ÄŸÄ±nÄ± kazanmalaraÄ±na olanak saÄŸlayacak dersleri iÃ§ermektedir.

Founded in the 1976-1977 academic year, the School, then called Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education, was under the Ministry of National Education until 1981 when it was joined by Ankara School of Foreign Languages and named Ankara School of Foreign Languages and Vocational Education.In 1982, when higher education was brought under a single roof, Ankara School of Foreign Languages was made part of Gazi University and the Vocational School joined Hacettepe University under the name of Ankara Vocational School.In the 1992-1993 academic year, the evening classes began at Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education, which moved to its current location in Opera in July 1997.In the 2002-2003 academic year, our School joined the MEB (Ministry of National Education) and YÃ–K (Higher Education Council) Common Education Project for Vocational Schools.In the 2004-2005 academic year, the Department of Economic and Administrative Programmes was separated from the Department of Technical Programmes which moved to its current premises at our university's PolatlÄ± Vocational School of Technical Sciences.Following the decision of our University and the approval of the Higher Education Council of 17 December 2004, Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education was renamed 'Vocational School of Social Sciences'.Since the education year 2011-2012, our school is a part of the Human Resources Development through Vocational Education Project (Ä°KMEP) that is financed by the European Union Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (Ä°PA). This project aims to encourage developing human resources through the perspective of life long learning, organization of vocational education, and increase in quality by enabling unity that focuses employment between the labour market and vocational schools.The Vocational School of Social Sciences continues its daytime and evening courses with its three programmes under the Department of Economic and Administrative Programmes, among which is the Accounting and Tax Application that has started its education the education year of 1976-1977. This programme has been training accounting professionals for the last 36 years.

Entry Requirements

With the law no.4702, since the education year 2002-2003, all Turkish Vocational Schools acceptstudents without any entrance exam if they have graduated from a VocationalHigh School. Students that enroll to our program are from related vocationalhigh schools and do not enter any entrance exam. Students that hold a YGS-6field of score can enroll to the program as well.
