    About

Our foundation year will equip you with valuable engineering skills. We cover a breadth of engineering topics including maths, design and analysis. This will prepare you for the rest of your course.

You'll learn fundamental engineering principles and practical skills. This includes drawing engineering designs. You'll also learn how to use computer-aided tools like MATLAB. You will develop valuable analytical skills and apply these to real-world engineering scenarios.

This is our foundation year to progress onto our Aerospace Engineering MEng (Hons) degree. This includes an additional year of study to qualify for an MEng degree. You’ll learn more about aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, systems, flight dynamics, mechanical engineering and computer-aided design. You’ll graduate with a rounded education in aerospace engineering.
