    About

You'll study the basic principles of engineering. You'll apply your knowledge and skills to real-world engineering problems. This will be supported by a mathematics module.

You'll also gain key engineering design skills. You'll learn to both understand designs and create your own. This includes technical drawing and using computer aided tools like MATLAB.

Once you've completed your foundation year, you can progress onto our Aerospace Engineering and Pilot Studies MEng (Hons). This is an integrated masters degree. You'll complete the theoretical training required to obtain a pilot’s license, alongside an engineering degree. We have excellent facilities including a full motion simulator and several flight training devices.
