    To enroll in CADS classes, students must be APME or APDP majors, or dept. approval. Exceptions to APME or APDP requirement:CADS 1600, CADS 1740, CADS 2000, CADS 2700CADS 3700CADS 4910, CADS 5450, CADS 5460.

    Note: Must earn a "C" in all required courses in the APME major. Students must earn a "C" or higher in all prerequisite courses in the major.

    Must choose 6 hours CADS courses as professional elective OR complete a minor. Student must complete CADS 5450 or CADS 5460. Other classes may be approved by faculty advisors. Up to 3 hours of CADS 3900 may be used towards professional electives.

    International freshmen applicants are currently attending or graduated from high school but have not attended college (summer following high school graduation excluded).

    International Freshmen Criteria

    Admission to Auburn University is competitive. More students apply to Auburn each year than we can admit, and many have strong academic credentials. 

    Documents Needed 

    Traditional Applicant:

    A completed application includes an admissions application and an application fee; an official evaluated high school transcript, official ACT/SAT scores, official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores, affidavit financial support, and supporting bank letter. 

    Test-Optional Applicant:

    A completed application includes an admissions application and an application fee; an official evaluated high school transcript, official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores, affidavit financial support, and supporting bank letter.

    Standardized Test Requirements

    The ACT or the SAT is required of all international freshmen applicants. Official test scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency.
