Our master’s takes your automotive engineering knowledge to the next level. It focuses on propulsion systems to prepare you for working in a dynamic and changing industry. You’ll develop systems-thinking approaches to understand the breadth of challenges faced in the sector such as moral, ethical and sustainability.

We'll set a topical automotive theme at the start of the course that will inform your group projects and dissertation. This brings the content of subject-based units to life as well as reflecting professional practice in industry. It also gives you the benefit of a personalised learning pathway.

To support your research project activities, you'll be able to draw on the staff and facilities of our Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (IAAPS).
