About this course
Today’s managers must deal with different national business practices, cultural changes and language needs.
They also need to appreciate how business functions like finance, marketing, human resource management or logistics work across national borders.
On this degree, we'll challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and help you develop the skills to consistently make good business decisions with these factors in mind, with modules on the world economy, cross-cultural management, emerging markets, and more.
You’ll also develop the hands-on experience that employers look for with our unique Authentic Business Learning (ABL) approach. Each year you’ll take part in live business projects and collaborations with real businesses. It’s our unique way of putting you – and your career – at the forefront of everything we do from day one.
And in your second year, you’ll have the opportunity to spend a trimester on a work-based internship or studying abroad at ESSEC, which is ranked in the world’s top 1% of business schools, learning from world-leading academics in some of Europe’s top industries.
You don't do exams at work, so why do them at university? As the birthplace of Authentic Business Learning, we take a different approach and focus on giving you the skills and experience to succeed.
Starting in your first year, you'll take part in live projects with real businesses. These form the basis of assessment alongside assignments, coursework and presentations, so your grades will be based on the tools you'll actually need when you graduate.
Each year, you’ll study modules worth 120 credits. Most modules are 20 credits but some are worth more. In these cases, you’ll study fewer modules. Some modules are compulsory, some are optional, so you can build a course that’s right for you.
