BA Degree with a Major in Sport Management and a Major Concentration in Sport Analytics
For general university requirements, see Graduation Requirements. Students pursuing BA degree with a major in Sport Management and must complete:
- A minimum of 56 courses (49-50 credit hours, depending on major concentration declared) to satisfy major requirements.
- A minimum of 520 hours to satisfy degree requirements.
- A minimum of 9-50 courses (28-35 credit hours), depending on major concentration declared, taken at 300-level or above.
- requirements of a major concentration. When students declare major in Sport Management, students must additionally identify and declare one of three major concentrations, either in:
- Sport Analytics: designed to prepare our graduates as to how to properly use big data to make educated decisions in sport management industry, or
- Sport Law: designed to prepare our graduates for law school, or
- Sport Leadership: designed to prepare our graduates for management, leadership, and entrepreneurial roles within sport industry.
Because of common core requirements, it is possible for students to change their major concentration at any time, even after initially declaring major. To do so, please contact the Office of Registrar.

In certain instances, courses not on this official list may be substituted upon approval of major’s academic advisor, or where applicable, department's Director of Undergraduate Studies. (Course substitutions must be formally applied and entered into Degree Works by major's Official Certifier.) Students and their academic advisors should identify and clearly document courses to be taken.
Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate English proficiency in one of two ways:
1. Completing at least two years of full-time study in an English language curriculum prior to submitting an application.
2. Submitting one of the following official test scores.
