    • Studying online or utilising a purpose-built $8.5 million education and training facility, the Queensland College of Wine Tourism, this degree offers on-site training in commercial vineyards, wineries, winery laboratories, and sensory analysis in association with regional wine shows.     English Program Requirements

    • As a graduate you will have the skills to work in the vineyard, the winery or both. There are a variety of exciting opportunities also to be found in the broader agricultural sciences that support our grape and wine producers.
    • Career areas may include viticulturist and vineyard management, grower liaison, agronomy, plant and soil health, wine making, cellar management, laboratory management, wine sales and cellar door management, wine marketing, distribution, imports and exports, wine warehousing, vineyard and winery supply sales, wine journalism and more.
    • Those of you looking to launch a career in wine business or appraisal are also catered for, with the option to select a second major in biology or environmental management and elective subjects in business, weather and climate change - enhancing your employability.

    How to Apply

    To apply to study, you will need to submit your application either via QTAC or directly to UniSQ.

    • If you're applying for the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Paramedicine or Bachelor of Midwifery, you will need to apply via QTAC
    • If you are applying for an undergraduate program with UniSQ as a Domestic student, you are new to UniSQ, you are in Year 12 or completed Year 12 the year prior to commencing your study, or it's been a while since you left school, apply through QTAC.
    • If you have previously studied at UniSQ or have completed a Certificate III or higher with TAFE QLD, you can apply directly to UniSQ.
    • If you're an International student, you can apply directly to UniSQ.
    • If you are applying to study a postgraduate program with UniSQ you will need to submit your application directly to UniSQ via the online application portal.
