- Background to the program and subject area:
The French Language Department was established as an independent department in the Faculty of Foreign Languages (formerly Arts) in 1997. The French Language Department aims at providing students with diverse backgrounds, detailed instructions, and multiple sources (texts, films, course tools). As a result, students at every stage of their study will be able to improve their language skills and expand their understanding of French culture. The areas of work for this specialization are: translation, business administration, tourism, and education.

Providing distinguished teaching methodologies and providing integrated training and application in the field of French language and literature. 1. Supplying the local and global labour market with a group of graduates specialized in French, and opening horizons for them towards a real and expanded world in response to the theories of modern globalization.
