Bible and Culture MA ('with' degree)

    About

Bible and Culture is offered as an option for part of an Honours degree in the Faculty of Arts, in combination with other subjects: Art History, English, Film Studies, Medieval History, Modern History, Philosophy and Scottish History.

Bible and Culture as part of an MA (Hons) focuses on The Bible and its use in and by various cultural traditions. The topics covered in this course are particularly suited for those wanting a wider range of options across Arts subjects and wish to increase levels of biblical literacy. It will be particularly beneficial for those studying subjects in the Faculty of Arts where some knowledge of The Bible is vital for interpreting art, literature, history, and philosophy in those traditions influenced by The Bible.
