You can apply for any of our taught postgraduate courses (MA, MSc, MBA, LLM) directly through BU, with the exception of MA Social Work, MSc Adult Nursing, MSc Mental Health Nursing and MSc/PG Dip Physician Associate Studies where you have to apply through UCAS.
If you are considering September entry and require a student visa to enrol at BU, please return to the BU course search and check out the full range of postgraduate courses beginning in January 2023. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept applications from students requiring a student visa for September 2022 entry due to UK Government immigration delays in processing student visas; all enrolled students must be on campus for the start of term to benefit from the full induction experience. If you are considered Home for fees purposes and do not require a visa to study, then applications are still open.
Simply go to the course page that you’re interested in and click ‘Apply now’. You will then be taken to our online application portal, myHub.
You will need to create an account and complete the application form. You can save the form as you go, enabling you to return to it at as many times as you want before you submit it. The form is split into tabbed sections. As you complete each of the tabbed sections they will turn green - only click submit once all of your tabs are highlighted green.
There is no formal deadline to apply for taught postgraduate courses with us, but we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. Some of our degrees have a January intake as well as September, giving you more flexibility over when you study.
Please note that December and January is one of our busiest application periods and therefore it may take us a little longer to process incoming applications. For courses with a January start date, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Are you a current BU student?
Final year BU students looking to study further with a postgraduate taught qualification can complete the Fast Track application form. There's no need to make a separate application!
