    About

    This MSc/PG Dip is the professional qualification for nurses who wish to gain entry to part three of the NMC nursing register as a health visitor or school nurse. Places on this programme are sponsored centrally through service commissioners and in partnership with health visiting and school nursing service providers. Completing the MSc SCPHN Those who already have the SCPHN PGDip qualification can apply for the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing MSc (Part time) programme, which consists of a 60 credit MSc Dissertation module. This option is only available on a self-funded basis (it is not financially supported by Health Education England).

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.
