Building Services Engineering

About

Developed in partnership with the building services industry this programme focuses on heating and air conditioning system design, building performance simulation and assessment, electrical systems and lighting design.

This programme is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) so you can progress towards full Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

It offers flexibility for engineers who are currently employed and want to improve their knowledge and skills.

Progress to a career in engineering with employers such as Arup, IES, Cundall, TUV SUD, and RYBKA. Take existing skills in engineering and maths and apply them to data-analysis and insight.

Theory including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Electrical Principles, Control Systems and Mathematics.

Engineering Applications, Electric Power Systems, Applied Thermodynamics, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Mathematics.

Entry Requirements

Students who have sat a secondary school qualification in Saudi Arabia are not generally able to join an undergraduate programme at the University and would be required to undertake a foundation programme before joining one of our undergraduate programmes at GCU. Contact international@gcu.ac.uk for further information on accepted foundation qualifications.
