Companies need to source and buy materials, so procurement and purchasing skills are much in demand. Our business logistics and supply chain management graduates have the skills to meet this need.

This direct entry logistics and supply chain course is targeted at those with prior university study in this area who are looking to use the modules this course offers to build on their previous study.

This course allows you to specialise in business logistics and supply chain management in sectors such as retail, service, manufacturing and fashion. You'll explore areas such as project management, international logistics and supply chain management, and managing strategy.

This course helps to meet a demand for qualified personnel who can efficiently source and buy materials and resources. Our graduates have gone on to roles in buying, procurement and logistics in companies such as KPMG, ASDA and Ford.

What sort of careers do graduates pursue?

Our graduates have gone on to roles in buying, procurement and logistics, and succeeded as supply chain managers, project managers and operations managers. This is one of the few undergraduate degrees in purchasing offered in the UK, and our graduates are sought after by employers such as ASDA, KPMG and Ford.

Are internships available?

The University’s Employability Team may advertise internship opportunities which are made available to the University and which the team feel are appropriate for University of Greenwich students. Internships are usually shorter opportunities ranging from 5 working days to 6 months and may be part-time or full-time. Depending on the nature and duration of the internship it may be something that can be done alongside study or it may be something that can only be done over the summer. If your internship is eligible, you can receive a Certificate of Industrial Studies.
