Overview Classics (Hons) from Queen's University provides an excellent foundation for, or complement studies in, other subject areas. The Department of Classics offers courses in a variety of thematic areas including Classical Literature and Culture, Greek and Latin Languages, Ancient History and Culture, Classical Archaeology, and Ancient Science and Philosophy. Students at Classics (Hons) from Queen's University will:get hands-on experience in the latest techniques by participating in one of two archaeological excavations supervised by our own faculty, or through a variety of projects and assignments. wider appreciation of human values and achievements,get a more objective understanding of ourselves and our times.
