    Overview Classics from Queen's University fosters congenial working relations, our students receive individual attention and support and are provided with many opportunities to engage fully in class discussions and mini-conferences.  Funding opportunities are available to allow students to present their research at external conferences, enabling them to develop professional networks within the greater Classics community.  Our students also have opportunities to travel to and participate in faculty-supervised archaeological excavations in Italy and Bulgaria, providing hands-on experience in an international setting.CareersWith coveted transferable skills (effective communications, critical thinking, problem solving), our graduates have gone on to successful careers in academia, museums, libraries, art galleries and archaeological excavation as well as in government, business, law, and medicine.
