    Clinical Research MRes/PG Cert

    About

    The Clinical Research MRes is a multi-disciplinary course aimed at practitioners who wish to develop their clinical or academic research careers. The course seeks to enhance the skills and knowledge needed for supporting, delivering and integrating research into clinical practice, as well as fostering evidence-based practice. Practitioners with the appropriate innovation and critical-thinking skills may be supported to undertake further study at MPhil/PhD level with the aim of developing a future clinical academic career.
  • You will be studying at the No.1 Nursing Faculty in the UK and 2nd in the world (2021 QS World University Rankings by subject).
  • Located in the heart of London, across four of King's Thames-side campuses (Waterloo, Strand, St Thomas' and Guy's) and the Denmark Hill Campus in South London.
  • Lectures delivered by experienced multi- disciplinary researchers on contemporary issues in the conduct and utilisation of health, clinical and social care research.
  • Support will be given to circulate work relating to your studies, predominantly through publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, with the opportunity to develop your research into a PhD Fellowship application.

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.
