Address challenging real-world computational problems with the Master of Mathematics in Computational Mathematics program.
An interdisciplinary field of study, it combines and unifies techniques from mathematics, statistics, and computer science to solve real-world problems that require quantitative modelling and high-end computing.
This intensive, twelve-month research-based program is best suited to you if have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or any program with a strong mathematical component (including economics, engineering, the physical sciences). You’ll get a solid foundation in the theory and applications of the broad field of computational mathematics along with a four-month paid co-op work term in a high-end Canadian or international company to give you hands-on experience.
At the end of the program, you’ll be prepared for further research at the PhD level or for a top job in industry. Our graduates find among the most interesting and rewarding high-end technology jobs in banks, tech companies, industry and government.
