Computer Science - Advanced Entry

Build on the knowledge of your Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Programmer Analyst or Computer Programming and Analysis advanced diploma through this college-to-university advanced entry program.

Our program explores a breadth of computing fundamentals, including data structures, graphics, information visualization, human-computer interfaces, software quality, programming, artificial intelligence, databases, data analytics, machine vision and more.

Topics of study include:

• Big data and information analytics
• Computer graphics and digital media
• Designing and analyzing algorithms
• Scalable and reliable software systems
• Software development lifecycle
• Web and mobile applications

All applicants to full-time undergraduate programs should apply in one of two ways; choose only one.

Option one:

The OUAC online application system allows you to apply to multiple Ontario universities or programs with one application. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Apply online using the OUAC website using the 105 application.
2. Be sure to apply by the application deadline for the program to which you want to be admitted—you can choose up to three programs.
3. Once the university receives your application from the OUAC, we will send you information regarding the next steps in the admissions process.

Option two:

If you are only applying to Ontario Tech, apply internally at ontariotechu.ca/internationalapplication. You can apply to three programs for a $100 application fee.
