The Cricket Management Postgraduate Certificate is an interdisciplinary programme focusing on cricket’s ethics, governance, diversity, history and heritage, and as a new Olympic sport, its political, social, economic, and cultural contexts. It includes specific elements relating to the socio-cultural role of cricket in order to help students develop a critical perspective on their management work.
The programme considers cricket at the local, national, international and global levels, and is suitable for those already working or aspiring to work in cricket.
The postgraduate certificate concentrates heavily on preparing students to address the issues faced in cricket at all levels of the game. It aims to produce professionals who possess a detailed knowledge of how cricket operates combined with a clear sense of ethical behaviour and a cultural perspective on sport in the 21st century, and how to effectively implement and communicate these concepts into cricket organisations.
It’s great to see more courses like this being developed around the world and I’m really looking forward to contributing to it.
