    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

We require a transcript(s) for each year of your secondary and post-secondary education. If your transcript isn’t in English, a translation is required. You can apply using unofficial transcripts, as long as you submit official transcripts prior to enrolling.
For post-secondary institutions, we need a course-by-course credit evaluation from an independent, reputable company such as World Education Services to determine transfer credits.

    English Program Requirements

All students who wish to attend American International College must demonstrate English proficiency. If English isn’t your native language, you need to demonstrate English proficiency, most commonly through a test such as the TOEFL. This can be achieved in the following ways:

    • Submitting scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. Our minimum qualifying score for the TOEFL is 80 iBT.
    • Successfully completing at least 15 credits (100 level or higher) from a regionally accredited 2 or 4 year institution in the United States where the primary language of instruction is English.
    • Applicants to the School of Business, Arts, and Sciences programs who have scored a minimum of 500 on the Verbal SAT are able to submit those scores in lieu of TOEFL or IELTS.
