    About

    Students in this track must take ENGL 2010 (Introduction to Professional Writing) as the gateway course to this track. ENGL 4810 (Capstone in Professional Writing) is the capstone course. No more than 6 hours may be at the 2000-level; at least 18 hours must be at the 4000-level or above. Effective Fall 2014, students must earn a C or better in any course counted toward the English major.

    International freshmen applicants are currently attending or graduated from high school but have not attended college (summer following high school graduation excluded).

    Admission to Auburn University is competitive. More students apply to Auburn each year than we can admit, and many have strong academic credentials.

    Standardized Test Requirements

    The ACT or the SAT is required of all international freshmen applicants. Official test scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency.
