About

The Division of English Translation and Interpreting is the first division of the Department of Translation and Interpreting, which had its first graduates in 1988. The Master's Program started in 1992. The Division of English Translation and Interpreting is an academic institution that sets standards and trends in translation studies and practices in Turkey with its highly qualified student profile and alumni network, faculty members that carry out scientific research all around the world, the knowledge and experience based on more than 30 years of history, and a constantly updated dynamic structure.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the admission to this program, candidates should be high school graduates. The program admits students according to their LANGUAGE score obtained at the undergraduate placement examination. If students have failed the English Proficiency Exam before starting their education at the program, they will have to receive a preparation education in English in the Preparation School of Hacettepe University.
