About

Overview Learning outcomesUpon completion of the program at Florida Atlantic University, students will be eligible to apply for a Florida teaching certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) with an Endorsement in Teaching English as a Second language (TESOL). ESE certification applies to grades K-12. Individuals certified in Exceptional Student Education and who have teaching certification in either elementary, middle grades, or secondary education, are eligible to teach in classrooms for students with learning disabilities, mental retardation, emotional/behavioral disorders, and physical impairments, as well as in general education classes. Courses leading toward the Bachelor's Degree program in ESE are currently offered at the FAU Boca Raton, Davie Campus, and Jupiter, campuses. I want to find another Bachelor Course

Undergraduate Exceptional Student Education students at Florida Atlantic University complete a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.E.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree* in Exceptional Student Education, which is designed to prepare students to teach individuals with learning and behavioral disabilities.

1 : Submit official transcripts from all high schools attended with a certified translation of each transcript. Your school must send official transcripts. Required academic records must be original or certified true copies sent by the school in a sealed envelope. All records should be submitted in the native language and accompanied with an official English translation. If you attend an International or American high school outside the United States, you must request that your high school counselor or school administrator email an official PDF copy of your current high school transcript.
