Exceptional Student Education (BS)

About

The Exceptional Education B.S. provides students a community-embedded teacher preparation program that culminates in certification in Exceptional Education K-12 with Reading and ESOL endorsements. The Exceptional Education program is appropriate for students interested in employment in K-12 settings working with students with disabilities. Requirements

Entry Requirements

High school seniors
High school students or graduates who earned dual enrollment credit or an AA degree but have not completed more than 11 semester hours of college coursework after high school graduation
High school graduates who have never enrolled in college

English Program Requirements

those who are from countries where English is the only official language;
those who have earned a degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university;
those who have earned a degree from a country where English is the only official language;
those who have earned a degree from a university at which English is the only official language of instruction; or
those who have successfully completed UCF English Language Institute Level 8 or higher with a grade of “B” or better at UCF Global.
