The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry (Non-Thesis) offered by the Department of Food Science & Agricultural Chemistry in the Faculty of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences is a course-based program that emphasizes comprehensive and career-focused learning opportunities. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in problem identification, information literacy, and independent thinking to pursue professional opportunities (or potentially continue their studies).
The program is also available with a Food Safety option: which is intended to train graduate students as specialists in food safety with the expectation that graduates will be well prepared academically to take on the challenging food safety events and issues that emerge both in Canada and globally.
