    Marketing is a truly global profession. More than ever, the innovative and creative thinkers who drive the discipline are being expected to market products and services that make a positive contribution – for their organisations and for the societies in which we live.

    This requires a deeper understanding of the global context, challenges and opportunities that society and the world of business are both currently facing. This double degree helps equip you with that understanding – while further progressing your skills as a marketing professional.

    Throughout the two-year program, you’ll build on your marketing capabilities by combining the latest theoretical insights and research with real-world, practical expertise. You’ll be challenged to think about the role marketing can play in shaping more ethical, sustainable marketplaces – and what it takes to build stronger brands and create value in today’s digitally-driven interconnected landscape.

    The program will enable you to develop your marketing knowledge and experience, and better understand how these skills can be adapted and applied across a broad range of different global markets. With a deeper understanding of the global environment businesses operate in – and the economic, political and social issues – different markets face, you’ll be better equipped to position and sell goods and services internationally. And to do so in a way that makes a more socially-responsible impact on these regions.

    Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

    Qualifications

    An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major or minor* in marketing with at least a high credit (65%) average or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).

    or

    An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant professional experience**.

    *A minor is at least four units (equivalent to 24 Monash credit points).

    **Applicants applying on the basis of work experience are required to provide a detailed curriculum vitae, outlining their employment history and professional experience.
