Global Tourism - Bachelor of Arts (Honours)

Choose from a range of advanced level courses that cover current issues the global tourism industry faces. You also research a topic of your interest through your dissertation.

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) is aimed at students who already have a degree in tourism. It can also serve as a pathway to further study at master’s or doctoral level.

Minimum entry requirements

• Bachelor of Arts with a B+ grade average or higher in level 7 courses in the selected subject area for this degree, or equivalent

• IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with 7.0 in Writing and all other bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent

Other specialisations

• IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent

AUT classes are taught in English. If English, Māori or NZ Sign Language is not your first language, you need to prove you have the minimum level of English for your AUT qualification.
