    Start your journey to becoming an expert in laboratory medicine.

    The program will introduce you to laboratory medicine, with an emphasis on practical laboratory skills that will transfer to a modern pathology laboratory.

    Laboratory Medicine is designed for graduates of biology, biotechnology, biomedical science, or related degrees. If you are interested in a career in diagnostic pathology, this is the program for you.

    This program also provides an entry pathway into the Master of Laboratory Medicine. You will receive credit for the courses you have already completed.

    Students will graduate career-ready with the skills and knowledge to work in a diagnostic pathology laboratory.

    You will gain practical experience of the latest advances in diagnostic medicine and undertake 10 days of industry placement as part of your program. You will develop the knowledge and skills to generate diagnostic laboratory reports.

    You will have the option to choose from multiple electives, some of the key areas include, but are not limited to:

    • Haematology and haemostasis
