Higher Specialization in Dermatology and Venereology

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency program at Jordan University Hospital is a structured 5-year postgraduate training program leading to higher specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It provides balanced training in both inpatient care and outpatient obstetrics and gynaecology. The program provides core training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as exposure to all main subspecialties in the field.

To train residents in the full spectrum of dermatology, enabling them to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population to meet a national and regional need for well-trained dermatologists

- To prepare residents for careers in dermatology, subspecialties, or academic dermatology as part of future faculty for medical education.

Graduates from this program are recruited as soon as they graduate for opportunities locally and regionally.

Opportunities include working in independent clinics, centres or hospitals.

Graduates are expected to work confidently in medical and aesthetic dermatology fields both in independent clinics or hospitals.

Graduates are encouraged to pursue sub-specialisation in dermatology following graduation from this academic program.​
